Coach Wilhelm scheduled a wrestling match against Hahira Middle School tonight.   Mason got pinned in the 1st period.   The team won 8 matches.  I didn't get to go, so I don't know how many matches they lost.

TCMS Wrestling team lost their1st match of 2010 season to Lee County 27 - 5.
Mason had 1 match (165 lb.) and won 8 - 6.   After the 3rd period the score was tied 6 - 6.   He had a take down after about 20 seconds into the overtime period, to give him 2 points, and the win 8 - 6.

Next match = December 11th Tournament in Valdosta

TCCHS Yellow Jackets lost to Dutchtown 15 - 0 in the 1st round of playoffs.  Season is over for this year.

We are going to "The Swamp" today to see Florida vs. Carolina.   Nelson came home this weekend to go to the game with us, but 2 of his buddies asked him to go to FSU vs. Clemson with them instead.   So, Nelson is going to CU game, and Mason asked Connelly to go with him to USC game.

Nelson hasn't been home from school since September.   Must have a girlfriend?!?

TCMS 7th Grade Yellow Jackets won the South Georgia Region/State Championship by beating Bainbridge 8 - 0 tonight.   Mason was selected as Team Captain for the game.   He had a recovery of a Bainbridge on-side kick, 2 tackles, and almost had a QB sack on the last play of the game.

TCCHS Yellow Jackets defeated Lee County 69 - 28 tonight

Not too good of a weekend for Thomas County teams.   Previously unbeaten 7th Grade team lost on Wednesday, previously unbeaten 8th grade team lost on Thursday,   TCCHS Yellow Jackets lost tonight to Northside Warner Robins 27 - 14.   Their record is now 5 - 2.

TCMS 7th Grade Yellow Jackets lost tonight to Bainbridge 14 - 12.    This was their final regular season game, giving them a record of 6 - 1.    They are now tied with Bainbridge, both at 6 - 1.   There will be a tie-breaker game soon.

Mason had 1 tackle and recovered an on-side kick.

Went to Warner Robins to watch Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets beat Houston County 49 - 6.

TCMS 7th Grade Yellow Jackets beat Cairo 22 - 6 last night.   Still undefeated,   Mason had 2 tackles and another fumble recovery.
I got back from San Diego today.   Went to National Safety Council Conference.   Saw SD Padres Stadium, and SD Chargers Stadium.   Rode to Pacific Beach (La Jolla) on California's Pacific Coast Highway.  
The fair is in Thomasville now.   We took Mason to the Demolition Derby tonight.  

TCCHS Yellow Jackets beat Northside Columbus 42 - 0 Friday night.  Homecoming game.
Nelson is home for the weekend.
I leave Sunday for San Diego, going to National Safety Council Conference.

Went to Columbus to watch TCCHS play Hardaway Friday night.   TCCHS Yellow Jackets won 33 - 6.
On Saturday we went to Auburn for the Gamecocks game.  Gamecocks were not so lucky.   We had a good time anyway.  We spent the day walking around the town and campus of Auburn.

TCMS 7th grade Tellow Jackets beat Thomasville Bulldogs 20 - 6 tonight.
Mason had 4 tackles, and 1 strip/take away on a Thomasville 2 point conversion try.   He came out of the pile up with the ball in hand, headed toward the other end zone.   After about 3 steps, the ref whistled the play dead.   Apparently, the defense can't advance a 2 point conversion the other way.    Just as well......I don't know if Mason can run 99 yards, especially without getting caught.   He was ready to go though.

Mason's 7th grade team did not have a football game this week.
Thursday was Mason's birthday (13).
TCCHS lost to Cairo tonight 20 - 17, but the players were magnificently hydrated.

Went to se the Atlanta Braves play St. Louis Friday night.   Nelson met us in Macon, and went with us.   Went to Underground Atlanta for a little while Saturday.   Mason sang with the Youth Choir at church Sunday morning.
